The Europa Cup, the game’s premier team competition was hosted in Oldham Leisure centre over the weekend of 25/26 October.

Teams from England, Scotland, Wales, Belgium, Austria, Germany, France, Italy, Spain & Greece competed for the trophy.  After a hard fought weekend, Black & Blue Pisa from Italy retained the title they won for the first time in Athens last year.

English clubs put up a creditable performance with English Premier League coming 17th, TSPA White Star 19th and Yorkshire Phoenix 20th in a 24 team field, the latter 2 playing an excellent final playoff game which TSPA edged 1-0 with 3 of the 4 games drawn 1-1 and a 1-0 win in the 4th game being decisive.
