The minimal number of players to homologate the tournament is 6.

The minimal number of players to homologate the tournament is 4.

-
When compiling the result and the ranking of one month, points from 12 months ago are divided by 2.
-
And points from 24 months ago are simply removed (already divided by 2 of course after 1 year). If a tournament is played over 2 days of different months (e.g. : September 30 & October 1), the tournament will count for the first month possible (e.g. : September)
c) Categories rankings
Individual rankings are updated according to the criteria mentioned above. In September, some players are removed from the U19, U15 and U12 categories if they are too old.
Only players who are members of the ESTFA are mentioned in the categories rankings. Categories are the same as in FISTF tournaments: Veterans, U19, U15, U12 and Ladies.
d) Club Rankings
The clubs ranking is made by the addition of the points of the top 5 players of each club
e) Other
The FISTF tournaments abroad always award ESTFA ranking points.
The FISTF tounaments all over the UK & Ireland award ESTFA ranking points.
At every tournament, all players get 1 bonus point for being present
f) Points from non English Events
While the ESTFA will make every effort to include all qualifying tournaments in the rankings, it is the responsibility of the players to inform the ESTFA that they are playing in an event outside of England, in order that they get their ranking points.
g) Membership of ESTFA
An extra feature which will be added from November 2009 onwards is a bonus of 10 rankings points for being a member of the ESTFA. This will be applied each year, but obviously be halved after one year as with all the other ranking points. So a regular ESTFA member will have 15 bonus points added as a regular feature. On the whole, this will not make any difference to tournament players as they will all get this bonus. However, it means that ALL players that are ESTFA members get a ranking even if they have not played a tournament. Where a player appears in more than one ranking table, the bonus points will apply to each table they appear in as long as they gain normal ranking points in that year. Otherwise they will only get the bonus points for the category they nominate on their ESTFA membership form.
